How can I let you know about my dietary restrictions?

To ensure everyone enjoys a delicious and safe meal at our wedding, please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies by emailing us at longjersey2025@gmail.com. We'd appreciate hearing from you by June 14th.

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

Wedding Ceremony and Reception: Black Tie Optional. The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place indoors in air conditioned facilities.

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

The welcome party the night before will take place outside in the Long family garden. The dress code is "garden cocktail." Guests are asked to wear dressy casual attire with shoes that they are comfortable wearing outdoors.

Will there be a shuttle provided?

We plan to provide a shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville and the Towneplace Suites Charlotte/Mooresville to the welcome party on July 11th and the wedding on July 12th. If you plan on riding in the shuttle, please let us know by June 10th by emailing us at longjersey2025@gmail.com

What is the weather like at Lake Norman?

July at Lake Norman offers warm and sunny days with average highs in the delightful mid-80s. Afternoon showers are common, but evening weather is usually pleasant. Please note that both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors in air conditioned facilities. The welcome party the night before will be outdoors.

Do you have recommendations for places to stay?

We have hotel room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville and the TownPlace Suites Charlotte/Mooresville. We also recommend utilizing the website Stay Lake Norman, as well as the Davidson Village Inn. For links, including room block codes, please visit the "Travel" tab above.
